Steve came highly recommended by my parents Sunnie and Feliz. He came to my house, went over the market pricing, made a few minor recommendations that I take care of prior to selling and listed my house. I had concerns about possible closing dates if I sold it immediately because I had to wait until the end of the school year to move to California. I have known Steve for several years. I called him to provide and estimate of the value of my condo. My goal was to sell it and move to a less expensive condo. Steve provided me with comparable sales and active listings in my complex and made the recommendation on price if I was to sell it now. I had Steve list my condo and sold it within a few days. He immediately took me to see 2 condos that also had 2 bedrooms and 2 baths that are similar to mine but in a better location with stores and other amenities that are in walking distance. This complex was less money and had a swimming pool that I also wanted. I bought the one I liked on the same day.

When it came to financing the purchase, I told Steve that I wanted to pay cash for the condo from the proceeds of the sale. He said that could be negotiated to close both the sale and purchase on the same day but moving in could be a potential problem with the closings and movers. I told him I could close the purchase of the new condo a week earlier than the sale. Steve suggested borrowing the money short term from my investments and not selling some of my stocks as my stock broker suggested. Steve said the interest for one week of the borrowed money would be less than paying 2 stock broker fees by selling and buying the stock again He was right.
